Who we are & What we do..
Gearpac is a UK based specialist internet retailer selling Mountaineering, Climbing, Caving and Motorcycle Touring Equipment. In addition Gearpac also provide expeditionary services such as equipment supply, specification, logistics and support. Catering for groups, societies and individuals involved with recreational, scientific or commercial ventures.

The Gearpac business idea was formed in 2005, with the business accounts opened and initial business development begun in April 2006. In July 2007 the business applied for VAT Registration with the certifications being granted and trading commencing in August 2007.
Business Ethos
The business ethos is simple. We aim to sell high quality equipment, supported by good customer services at competitive prices. Designed to offer you the best value for money we can. If you should have any queries or questions just call.

Our Aim
We aim to meet your needs. After all you are our most treasured asset and we would like to keep you coming back. If you do not see what you’re looking for on the website or in our publications, please give us a call. If you have any problems please let us know too. We promise to address them as quickly as we can.
Shows & Shops
At present we have an office based in North Wales on the edge of the Clwydian Range. In the future we hope with your continued custom and support to open a retail premises in the North West as the business grows. We shall also be attending and trading at a number of shows and events during the year. So please keep an eye out for us.

Charity Support
As an individual and as a business owner I believe in supporting my local community and charities where possible. Primarily I have chosen to support to the Wales Air Ambulance Service. As a motorcyclist and outdoor enthusiast, I have seen the benefits of their service. They simply save lives.

I started Gearpac © due to my interests in mountaineering and motorcycling, and the frustrations and difficulties I experienced sourcing gear at reasonable prices. My background is in geology and environmental sciences. I have worked in many parts of the world from Europe to Africa. Out in the field and have a great love of the country side and travel. In October 2006 the company I was working for, decided to relocate my office and left me with some life changing choices to make. In April 2007, I chose to chase a dream and make my ideas a reality. Thus Gearpac became what it is today. And with your support I hope it will grow as we move into future.
